Students need to apply for admission to different levels of technical education in Bangladesh. For this, students need to know about various subjects including application procedure, fees, technical institution list, diploma, and vocational courses.
But it is very difficult for them to get this information from technical education institutes. Therefore, we have provided below all the information related to BTEB Admission, so that they can view the Admission Requirements, Application Procedure, Fees, and other information.
1. Admission Nitimala: 2023-24 Session
The BTEB Admission Nitimala for 2023-24 Sessions has been published, which allows for 4 years of Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Textile Engineering, Diploma in Agriculture, Diploma in Forestry, Diploma in Livestock, Diploma in Fisheries, Diploma in Fisheries, HSC Business management & technology, HSC vocational, Diploma in Commerce, and Certificate in Marine trade.
Govt. Polytechnic Admission Requirements For (4 years diploma)
Diploma in Engineering, Textile Engineering, Tourism, and Hospitality – 1st and 2nd shift:
- Must have passed SSC or equivalent examination from any board of education in Bangladesh.
- Must have a minimum total GPA of 3.50 with a GPA of 3.00 in math or higher math for Male students.
- Female students must have a minimum total GPA of 3.00 with a GPA of 3.00 in Mathematics or higher math.
- Students of any age who have obtained a minimum 2nd class in SSC or equivalent examination can apply.
Diploma in Agriculture, and Forestry- 1st, 2nd shift
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in SSC or equivalent.
- Students of any age will be able to apply if they get a “C” grade in any one subject and a “D” grade in the other two subjects at the O level.
Diploma in Livestock, diploma in Fisheries 1st and 2nd shift
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in SSC or equivalent.
- Students of any age can apply if they get a ‘C’ grade in any one subject and a ‘D’ grade in two other subjects including Mathematics at the O level.
Private Polytechnic Admission Requirements (4 years diploma)
Diploma in Engineering, Textile Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock, and Fisheries 1st and 2nd shift:
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 in SSC or equivalent.
- Students of any age who have passed the “O” level can apply.
- Students of any age before the introduction of the GPA system can apply only if they have passed the 2nd division.

3. How to apply for BTEB admission?
You must apply online to both govt. and private Polytechnic Institute. So see below the online procedure for admission to diploma courses.
Polytechnic Online Apply Process 2023
- To apply you need to click on the Polytechnic-TSC admission button from the home page of this website www.btebadmission.gob.bd or bteb.gov.bd or techedu.gov.bd.
- The first step is to pay the application fee through bKash, Rocket, or SureCash. The transition code has to be filled get through SMS from the mentioned sources.
- If the information of the applicant is mentioned in the 2nd step, then a passport-size color photograph should be given. (Maximum 100 KB)
- In the 3rd step, you have to select the institutions and technology. Each student will be able to select 15 institutions and technology in each shift. 30 can be done together in both shifts.
- The 4th step will display all the information, institutions, technology, and pictures of the applicant, and the latest permission will be sought to complete the application.
- Once the application is completed, the applicant’s “application ID” and “PIN number” will be sent via SMS, which can be used to modify the application information later.

4. Diploma Application fees and payment system
The diploma application fee from BTEB has been fixed at 160 Taka. With this money, you can apply for any one shift. If you want to apply again in the 2nd shift, you will be charged 160 TK. again. If you want you can pay for the 1st and 2nd shifts at the same time, for this you have to pay a total fee of 320 TK. You can submit fees through Rocket, Teletalk, Bikash, and SureCash.
Note: A student can apply to a maximum of 15 public and private institutions.

The application fee for admission to the Polytechnic Diploma Course can be paid using three means. All three methods are mentioned below.

5. How to get admit card for BTEB admission?
You do not have to face any exam system to get admission to the diploma level. Students will be selected on the basis of SSC or equivalent results. Students will get a message on their mobile when they get a chance in their desired institution, from there they can download their admit card from this website www.btebadimission.gov.bd and www.bteb.gov.bd with a roll and registration number.
Once the admit card is downloaded, the students who get selected have to confirm their admission by physically participating in the designated institution.
BTEB Admission Result 2023 (Diploma, HSC-Vocational, or Equivalent)
5 June 2023 Last date of application. June 8, 2023, Polytechnic Diploma Admission Results will be released. The only authority to publish the results is the Bangladesh Education Board’s own website – www.educationboardresult.gov.bd. So you can find out the admission results from the links below.
